PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Management program prepares the graduate for careers in marketing, market research, advertising and public relations. The curriculum provides the graduate with both technical skills and competencies required in the field, but also the flexible mindset that is necessary to stay competitive in a constantly changing business environment.
The Human Resource Management Program prepares the graduate for a career in the Human Resource Management Department of any organization, handling the many diverse human capital requirements of the organization, including recruitment, staffing, training and career development.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource Management Program graduates must be able to:
Learn the fundamentals, principles, and concepts of marketing.
Organize and manage organizational and entrepreneurial activities.
Perform marketing research through the application of accepted applied research methodologies.
Develop comprehensive marketing plans that parallel an organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
Develop critical thinking and quantitative reasoning, develop written and oral communication skills.
Help graduates seek employment and entry level jobs or positions of responsibility in a marketing company or department, and
Be an ethical and socially responsible member of the workforce and society.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource Management Program graduates must be able to:
Develop a clear and meaningful understanding of HR functions and practices.
Apply human resource management concepts and skills across a variety of contexts, situations and circumstances.
Analyze the integration of organizational processes, systems, structure, and culture in strategic planning and decision making pertaining to human resource management.
Appreciate the role of HR in contributing to employee and organizational effectiveness.
Develop effective coordination and communication within the organization
Embracing wider societal and ethical development of HR.
